Overdose has touched far too many of our lives. How many loved ones- parents, children, brothers, sisters, friends- have been lost to the disease of addiction? Serenity Acres would like to invite you to the second annual Tri-County Memory Walk. This event, held in Charles County, MD, is an opportunity for friends, family, and whomever else has been touched by addiction, to mourn those that they have lost.

The Background

Last year in May nearly 500 people came to Serenity Farm to walk in memory of those who have lost their lives to addiction and to plant seeds of hope for those who still suffer. This year we’ll do it again on May 14th and invite you to join us for this very special event.

Come early for refreshments both free and for sale, meet others who have experienced similar losses, listen to a speaker share their experience, strength and hope, and discover valuable resources available for addicts, alcoholics and their families. Plan for rain or shine and wear farm shoes to easily participate in the Seed Planting and Memory Walk as we follow the path of our lost loved ones photos.

If you or someone you know has suffered a loss because of the disease of addiction please send us their photo and join us on May 14th. Encourage your friends and family to come too for a day of remembrance and healing. Help us spread the word by sharing this flyer on social media and joining our Facebook event. Photos of your lost loved ones can be posted to our Facebook page but they will also need to be mailed or dropped off to the address below.

Deliver photos to: Lori Hony 484 Main St. Prince Frederick, MD or mail to: PO Box 2764 Prince Frederick, MD 20678
